Emma and Josh's family

Emma and Josh's mom and dad thought family photos would be a great idea. Emma didn't think so at first and I have some incredibly cute pictures of the back of her head from the beginning of the photo shoot. However, it didn't take long for her to warm up to the camera and start doing those poses that only adorable 3 year old girls can do! All Dogs go to Heaven: Spunkee 1993-2009

At least I know that this little guy is in a better place. This is my dog Spunkee, he passed in his sleep last night. He had a great life and was with me for over 16 years. I taught him so many tricks that I honestly couldn't think of one more thing to teach him....he was a smart little dog. I will really miss him.

Who said newborns don't smile?

Meet baby Carson. He is just 10 days old and I'm positive he was smiling for the camera. I feel very lucky that I was able to capture it on film. Ok, not really on film, but I captured this precious baby-smile nonetheless. Congratulations to Michele and Deon on your new arrival, I hope you like this sneak peak at your photos.

Springtime??

These are not the types of pictures that your mind imagines when I say "spring photos" but this was one of my last photoshoots in the spring snow. Although most of us don't really like the spring snowstorms, the results are really beautiful in photos! This family was a lot of fun to photograph; their older son was an absolute ham for the camera. And check out the beautiful 'baby blues' on the little guy...he is going to have the girls melting when they look into those eyes!! These are some of my favourite images from their session.

A Pea in the Pod

I finally received my new baby cocoon and was lucky enough to be able to take some photos of baby Gemma in it! She is almost seven weeks old and completely adorable. Thank you Michelle and Gemma for playing along with me this morning!

These photographs were taken as these little girls were getting ready to attend their first 'jellybean' dance. The girls dressed up as fairies and the boys as pirates. There is really something magical about little girls; even without their fairy costumes!!

I love chubby babies!

I had the pleasure of photographing a nice couple and their beautiful baby girl last weekend. I just couldn't get enough of her chubby little baby legs and arms. Take a look. If these pictures don't make you say 'ahhhhh' I don't know what will!! She is such a happy little baby: I took pictures for an hour straight without so much as a pout out of her.
